OCT (optical coherence tomography) is a quick, painless scan that images the layers of your retina in cross-section, similar to an ultrasound for the back of your eye. It can reveal early glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinal changes years before you notice symptoms. At our clinic it is included in every exam at no extra charge.

Myopia control is treatment that slows the progression of nearsightedness in children, lowering their lifetime risk of conditions linked to high myopia such as macular degeneration, glaucoma, and retinal detachment.

Our program is led by Dr. Laura Lin and uses ocular biometry, a precise multi-point scan of the eye. Treatment plans may include myopia control spectacles, atropine drops, specialty daily soft contact lenses, and screen-time coaching. Specsavers Guildford Town Centre is the retail dispensary where you can fill your glasses or contact lens prescription. We share the same space, so you can do both in one visit.
